In 1986, Schoenling Brewing Company, makers of Little Kings, acquired Hudepohl, forming the Hudepohl Schoenling Brewing Company. After being purchased by a Cleveland based company in the late 1990s, it was bought by Cincinnati s Greg Hardman in 2006 who placed it under the umbrella of his then recently revived Christian Moerlein
