Planes on the Plains Size:16"x20" Each year during the Thirty

Each year during the Thirty Days project

Earlier in the spring I was scouting the area around the airport and noticed an aircraft on final approach to Denver International Airport

the challenges of weather or time and the results created during the Thirty Days Project

I sort of laughed to myself as it does have a little similarity to the image Winter in Washington Park which I have photographed a few times before as well

It did for a little and then the clouds quickly rolled into the western skies

Planes on the Plains Size:16"x20" Each year during the ThirtyI headed out to the plains for some images just after sunset near the airport. My plan was to find a good location with a view of the mountains and then see what the approach pattern was for the evening. The area which I selected did not disappoint nor did the flow of traffic from multiple airlines at that time of night allowing for fine tuning of the process prior to the light disappearing, the flow of traffic slowing and the temperatures beginning
