The door fronts flip up and push in, and the drawers pull out. Each can be set up for letter or legal size filing from side to side. We repainted the exterior at our shop in a light grey color, and it has been in the warehouse hidden behind other furniture, so it has 2 very faint scratches on the drawer fronts.
