In October 2008 I was in the area during a week long trip to northern California

As I headed back downtown and noticed the view of the pilings under the pier

This is where I noticed the beach and water coming together and also leaving a reminder of the prior wave coming onto the beach during low tide

across to Douglas Island as well as north towards the airport and Chilkat Mountains

The holiday lights in downtown Denver are quite popular to view and photograph

Reykjavik City Hall Presentation:Print Only In October 2008 I wasLocated along (and in) the City Pond, the Town Hall of Reykjavik is a modern building with lines with draw you into the building itself. From the west you enter the building over a slightly curving path over the water which on many days will give you time to check out the many birds which spend time in the pond. The building is open to the public and features a large 3D map of Iceland which you can view in the lower level of the building.
