Lake Superior agates are natural stones that are meant to be admired in sunlight

By base color I mean that in low light or when not flashing in the light at certain orientations the stone will appear black

The fordite is set in stainless steel and a 20 inch stainless steel snake chain is included

This cabochon is in an elongated oval that's fully domed with good height

This piece was collected in northern MN near Grand Marias and came to me in a collection I purchased as a beach washed pebble. I shaped it in a teardrop where the top and back are the host basalt with a polished piece of thomsonite at the base. I drilled this piece and secured it with a stainless steel bail. The included 20 inch chain is also stainless steel. This
