This let me get comfortable with the different shapes and patterns prior to starting to photograph other areas

While enjoying some ice cream at a shop in Hawai'i which gave you a view of a small beach in Lahaina I noticed the waves coming in and out

but that is part of the fun of the project in dealing with the elements presented to you each day and finding something to photograph which you are proud to post to the blog each day

Prior to leaving the lake I checked out some other areas and found some tall grasses backlit blowing in the wind

Being at the location

Dream a Little Dream Lake Size:24"x36" This let me get comfortableI could have stayed in bed and continued dreaming, however I woke up early and headed to Rocky Mountain National Park and the Bear Lake area. After photographing around Bear Lake at sunrise I hike a little over a mile to Dream Lake. As usual there was a stiff wind, and once I got to Dream Lake it just started to howl. I didn't spend much time around the lake, as this was also a scouting mission for future trips towards Dream Lake later this winter.
