And then it struck me

On this particular day near sunset a white stallion appeared at the top of a ridge with the sun setting behind him and his herd hidden on the other side

As you stand looking over the Portsmouth harbor

Common Gallinule Seascapes and ends in a sunsetI photographed this bird's common gallinule while in Punta Canta in the Dominican Republic. Although quite common, its not a bird that is easy to get a good photo of. So I took one of my attempts to get the perfect photo and used my editing software and a bit of magic to outline the background of the bird with his own plumage to get this effect.
