primed then painted in dark grey-green

It measures as size 64cm with the manufacturer stamps appearing faintly as Si64. This shell is very solid for its 100+ years of existence. When acquired the helmet was already restored and painted in a matt WW1 smooth green. It seems there has been some minor repair work to the crown and there are a few small dings.
