Sophia Orenge – Senior Lawyer
Sophia is the senior lawyer in the firm and a member of the firm’s management. She qualified as an advocate of the High Court of Kenya in 2023 and joined the firm in 2024. Sophia graduated in LLB from Kabarak University in 2020. She is also highly proficient in French having an advanced Diploma in French from Alliance Française de Seoul.
Sophia is a certified professional mediator and a patent agent in Kenya. She practices in the broad spectrum of transactional law, Kenya immigration law and nationality, family law and real estate.
Sophia advises clients in the applications under all categories of the Kenya Immigration rules, family and work visas (from entry clearance to settlement applications) as well as Kenya visit Visas and applications for naturalization and registration as a Kenyan citizen.
Sophia advises Kenyan tax resident and international individuals on a wide variety of matters in family law including advice on estate planning, wills and codicils, with a particular focus on ensuring clients have arrangements in place which are tax efficient and which achieve their aims for their family and succession planning.
Sophia also advises on a range of property transactions, with a particular focus on commercial acquisitions and disposals. She acts for individuals and companies.
