Regardless of its history as a guard coat (which we know from the label stating just that inside) it is a dramatic and gorgeous coat that has a strong military feel

The bodice is cut loose and easy and the neck line has an attached scarf detail with a little bit of pleating to highlight it and the sleeves are just a suggestion
