Description

Leg: 49" from slight empire waist to hem

The seam there is pointed and the seaming through the bodice angles down into the front yoke to give the illusion of a small waistline and length

The bottom of the dress is finished with the same ruffle technique as the collar but there they are set so fold over each other as opposed to open up like they do at the neckline

It falls from the shoulders from flat silk straps that are made form the same fabric as the rest of the dress

I fell in love the moment I saw it - it has a fabulous arts and crafts feel to it and I can just imagine the girl who carefully embroidered all those brilliant designs onto the black silk
