I know the 1904-1940 is obvious on this but the actual assembly date is the smaller stamped 42 under the eagle

SALE! German Mother of Pearl Brooch in Original Box mortar The case measures 3 5/8"Original mother of pearl brooch in its original box. The box is marked, "Carl Geigenmller Juweiler Oelsnitz i. V." The only thing I was able to find about the company was an archive listing him as a goldsmith from 1923 1945. Both the box and brooch are in decent condition but both show signs of wear age. The box is a little dirty and discolored (especially on the bottom). The pin on the brooch is a little bent. The brooch measures about 1 3 4" in
