The top-nut is a brass salvaged original rethreaded for a new bolt

This shell is mostly solid and intact but has had a tough 100 years of existence

The liner has been fully refitted with new OD3 triple-weave webbing

mostly in good condition though the rear strap is a little fragile on one end
