The fabric is a silk weave with a textured linen like feel to it

When on it presents perfectly but when laid flat and the fabric spread out you can see snagging and small snag tears around the bottom of the skirt - I feel this was stored incorrectly and on too short a rack and this is from catching on rollers  as racks were moved slightly

It does feel like it could easily be a YSL piece as it is very similar to pieces we have had before in terms of cut and quality.
