This dress is the same one that I had in the shop before and I was happy to have it back from its owner after she had worn it for an event and decided to edit it to make room for more pieces

It has a defined waist that buttons at the front and the band is set to dip and curve under the buttons

The top is unlined and closes with a back painted zipper and hook & eye at the neck

sleeveless sheath that has a hidden set zipper up one side so none of the line of the dress is broken

He quickly became known for his work and his pieces were fast sellers. Naomi Sims was a fan and often was spotted wearing his work. His label closed in the early 1980s. He then worked at Krizia, remaining there up to just before his passing in 1993 of brain cancer. This gives us a very small window for finding examples of his work.
