The Goat Berkhamsted Pinner and Castle FieldsThe Goat, Berkhamsted is a family and dog friendly sports bar, as well as Berkhamsted's premier music venue. Historically dating from 1782, but re built in the mid 19th c. A halt for cattle drovers on their way to the London markets. The drovers pounded their cattle sheep in three closes nearby (hence Three Close Lane). The surviving cattle trough survives outside as a flower bed.
